The three-day event will feature Canadian authors in a packed schedule of workshops, readings, panel discussions, and book signings. Check out our panel discussions on silence, writing for live audiences, writing as a queer woman, writing about the rural, and more. The Carol Shields Lecture will be delivered by writer, storyteller and activist Leanne Betasamosake Simpson. Also featured: Don McKay, Nancy Lee, Shani Mootoo, Jordan Abel, Darrell Dennis, Aislinn Hunter, Bill Gaston, Doretta Lau, Lee Henderson, Audrey Thomas, Polly Horvath, Anne-Marie Turza, and many, many more. The Abbotsford Air Cadets are holding a Small Business Marketplace fundraiser from 10:00 am-3:00 pm at the Cadet Building.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be a Silent Auction as well as hourly door prizes and a raffle with all the proceeds going to support the Cadet Program. Food will also be available for sale at the Canteen.

There will be over 45 vendors looking to help you get your Christmas shopping done nice and early; or for you to just spoil yourself!
