We strongly advise you to keep a friend close, within arm's reach... you never know what creepy creatures are waiting for you in the shadows!

Victoria's most popular Halloween activity over the past 20 years. Tour routes are developed and narrated by John Adams, a well-known local historian and ghost expert who has appeared many times on the Creepy Canada TV series. Each year, the two-hour route is different and includes many new stories as well as some of the favourites from previous years. Ghost Bus Tours leave from a secret Victoria location. Only once you reserve and pay for your ticket will you find out the departure location. Seating is limited on each bus and tickets sell out quickly, so book early.

Beware of the Hallowe'en Train! Ride the steam train through ghostly scenes and past scary Hallowe'en characters at the museum. Children will enjoy trick or treating and making Hallowe'en crafts, and there are haunted houses for those who dare!

After 4:30 pm, costumed spooks will be mingling with the visitors and creeping up in unexpected places! The performers are provided by the South Island Musical Theatre Society. Spooky exhibits and live Hallowe'en music will take place in the main gallery.

Samson, the 1910 steam locomotive, leaves the station every 30 minutes except there will be no train at 4:30 pm.

29th annual and one of Canada's best halloween events. Fun begins at 6:00 pm and wraps up with Fort Steele's renowned fireworks display at 9:00 pm. Activities include a Monster Show in the Wild Horse Theatre, haunted house tours, trick or treating and traditional Halloween games. Tickets will be on sale in October; Friends of Fort Steele Society members have the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance with their membership renewal.

Join us at the scariest Halloween location in town! Take our spooky haunted house tour, go trick or treating, carve a pumpkin & roast some marshmallows! There will be lots of activities for both young & old, however, parental supervision is required for young children. This event is outside and in the dark, so dress warmly and bring a flashlight! Admission by donation, tours $3 per person.

Brought to life by Public Dreams, this event is for families with children aged 9 and younger. It features games, performances, Halloween crafts and a carved pumpkin display. Play Giant Jenga - a fun and interactive game with 7' tall pieces made from lightweight packing foam - or learn to juggle from a circus performer and make spooky wind catchers with ghosts and goblins. Tickets are available in advance at the Garden Entrance or at the Gate on the day of the event.

The parade will march from Kerry Park (Mill St) along Abbott St to the Cenotaph in City Park for the ceremony. Following the ceremony, participating youth groups are invited to the Legion Branch for lunch.
