Join Friends of Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Revelstoke. The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is produced by Mountain Culture at The Banff Centre, and features award-winning films and audience favourites from approximately 300 films entered in the annual festival in Banff. Showing at the Roxy Theatre in Revelstoke.

The festival will guide people to identify & actually pick wild mushrooms & have a gourmet experience in the Shuswap area. We will also offer a wide range of entertainment that will keep you busy all weekend. We will be offering a variety of different mushroom hunting tours that will allow you to capture the feeling of this event. This weekend event will be mainly be held at the the Red Barn in Sicamous.

The festival returns to downtown Proctor with many of the storytellers from the past returning. The list includes Joshua Klassen, East Shore historian Susan Hulland, Barry Gray and Ktunaxa teller, Joe Pierre as well as Gunpowder Gertie's creator Carolyn McTaggart and Doukhobor teller.

Sunday's festivities will travel to the 300 block of Baker Street, Nelson (between Kootenay and Stanley). There will be a stage, free music and stories, a Children's activity tent, a First Nations camp and, of course, our storytelling venues: The Royal Hotel (an adults only site), The Kootenay Exchange and The Vienna Café.

The Mt. Lehman Fall Fair is an annual event held at the Mt. Lehman Community Hall and Mt. Lehman Elementary School at the corner of Mt. Lehman and Taylor Road. It begins with a pancake breakfast and continues all day ending with a BBQ chicken dinner. Good family fun, pet parade, kids zone, preschool activities, petting zoo, exhibits, history room, contests, raffle, Bessie Bingo, lively entertainment, tea room, snack shack and burger bus.

18th Annual Fall Fair & Horse Show. Dressage horse events, children's games and entertainment. Exhibits include needle crafts, baking, art, home preserves, photography, flowers, weaving and more. There will be a Dog Agility Show and Demo. The 3 days are packed with events for all ages.

Canada's ONLY Hot Pepper Festival. Harvest festival of peppers with entertainment, a Hot Pepper Eating Contest, children's games, vendors & artisans, a beer garden and more. Entertainment includes Corner Turtles, Matt Duffus and The Blackbirds. This event is free to the public and is held each year to thank all the people in the Similkameen Valley who provide us with great wine and fabulous fruits and vegetables.

This is a 2-day multi-discipline Stage Race, including XC & DH mountain biking & trail running, amidst the spectacular scenery of the Selkirks. Challenge yourself to complete one stage or compete for the Monster Challenge or Cody Quest Challenge to be the overall greatest sufferer! There will also be a kids' event taking place on the Kaslo River Trail. All races will finish on Front St in front of the historic Kaslo Hotel. Front St will be blocked off with a professional race announcer.

It's the 19th Annual Bavarian Night and $39 per person includes an 'all you can eat' German specialty buffet, dance and sing-along with Bavarian musicians. Begins at 7:00 pm.
