If you dress in the 1800s fashion for the weekend you could possibly win a beautiful gold nugget, best costume wins! Also, the panner whom lives the furthest away gets a beautiful gold nugget! All children & teens who enter will get a brand new gold pan plus a bag of pay dirt that contains real gold.

The 48th Annual Princeton & District Agricultural Fall Fair is an event for all ages. Come enjoy the many agricultural exhibits, children's activities, demonstrations and competitions. Visit the vendors offering great food, information on their business and all kinds of items for sale.

The Marron Vally Drill Team will be there at the grand opening (10:00 am) and will also have a show running from noon until 3:00 pm. Horseshoe Tournament runs Saturday with registration at the pitch at 10:00 am. BINGO Saturday & Sunday. Live music Saturday night in the Beer Gardens.

The Tofino Lantern Festival is our 'signature' community event and fundraiser, drawing the young and old with an unbelievable variety of handmade lanterns. The Tofino Lantern Festival was born in 2001 & since then has grown to feature local musicians and artists and includes a 'permanent collection' of locally created West Coast lanterns. Many of these lanterns are modeled on local flora and fauna, such as mushrooms, sharks, flowers, fish, owls, banana slugs and trees, but there is also a village worth of houses, a constellation of stars, a galaxy of planets, a yard of recycling lanterns and much, much more.
