Make memories with family or out-of-town guests in the traditional holiday atmosphere of the Fort! At 11:00 am, start with a guided introduction of the site where British Columbia was born, then at 1:00 pm warm up with some heritage hot chocolate at the Heritage Hot Chocolate Program and decorate a cookie. At 3:00 pm roast chestnuts on an open fire while swapping stories with our costumed guides.

This year, the 6th Annual Galiano Literary Festival will be held February 20th - 22, 2015. This year's theme will be exploring Nature and The Environment.
The Festival will be again held at the beautiful Galiano Oceanfront Inn which provides a relaxed and unique atmosphere. Our goal was and remains to bring lovers of the book, be they readers, writers or publishers, together in a fun, informal and educational festival.
The 2015 Galiano Literary Festival will begin with a Welcome Reception at the Galiano Inn which gives guest authors a chance to meet each other and the other attendees at the festival. Participants will be treated to a variety of sessions throughout Saturday and Sunday.
