The Fair at the PNE is Vancouver's annual end-of-summer send-off. For the last two weeks of August (through Labour Day Weekend), the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) & Playland Amusement Park host The Fair at the PNE, featuring more than 50 rides & attractions, nightly concerts, live performances, agricultural & animal displays, games & food. Runs August 22-September 7 from 11:00 am-11:00 pm (closed August 24 & August 31).

Starting Friday evening, there will be a cruise through town at 6:00 pm, followed by a Charity Casino Night with lots of good prizes. This event is for fun, mingling and charity.
On Saturday morning, the Show & Shine Car Show takes place on beautiful Baker Street. During the show, there will be poker walks and entertainment. Trophy presentations will start at 3:30 pm, followed by a poker run.
To end things off, starting at 7:00 pm, there will be the fabulous and fun rooftop dance on top of the parkade, with music performed by a couple of great bands so get ready to dance your socks off or just sit back and enjoy the tunes.

From 10:00 am-5:00 pm, everything is garlic! Enjoy arts and crafts made from garlic and delicious food cooked with garlic. There will be live music, a poetry contest, the Heaviest Clove Contest and a puppet theatre.
