This July, 60 students selected from 12 regional heritage fairs from across British Columbia will gather in Victoria for a week-long history camp, during which they will explore the spectacular natural resources, rich First Nations culture & abundant heritage of Victoria. The Provincial Heritage Fairs Society encourages students to explore Canadian heritage in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. Students use the medium of their choice to tell stories about their own family connections & stories, or the stories of Canadian heroes, legends, milestones & achievements & present the results of their research at a public exhibition.

The ride will start at the Cedar Community Hall and proceed through downtown Nanaimo ending at Beban Park. At Beban Park the events are open to everyone including: bike games, live bands, beer gardens, Show & Shine, food and merchandise vendors, prizes for competitors, children's events and more! Riders are reminded to bring a new unwrapped toy for the ride.
