The 10th annual every WOMAN conference opens the door for women to a variety of new sports & interests.

This Whistler event is the every WOMAN "gala" as it holds true to the organization's original vision to "be active in nature".

This experience allows you to be your true self in a non-contrived fashion. You laugh at being awkward at Capoeria, you chuckle at missing the beat in Zumba & you smile (with confidence) when you can't touch your toes in yoga.

It is about the experience. It is about utilizing physical activity to make the most of your life.

Held in Memorial Park just steps away from historic Ladner Village, the Ladner Pioneer May Days Fair (est. 1896) is one of British Columbia's largest free family fairs & attracts visitors from all over the province. Featuring live bands, jugglers, magicians, balloon artists, a petting zoo, carnival rides & a beer garden for the adults, the Ladner May Days Fair offers a wide variety of entertainment & activities in a comfortable park setting.

Once again Festival participants will enjoy local musicians, sightseeing boat tours, seafood booths, shellfish cooking demonstrations, presentations, live shellfish sales, kids' activities, and special menu items at the restaurants - there are activities for everyone! Special rates are offered by Lund's accommodation providers and bus service to Lund is provided from Powell River for only $2.00 per person. The Lund Shellfish Festival is a green event because recycling bins are placed at strategic locations. This event produces no garbage.

Richmond Carvers 24th Annual Woodcarving show will be held in the Steveston Community Centre. Come and see fine displays of wood carvings from throughout BC and the USA, see the demonstrations and stop by the various vendor booths. The Richmond Carvers Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of woodcarving as a hobby and an art form.
