A picnic in the park to celebrate Canada's 146th birthday!

Canada Day celebrations in Prince Rupert are held annually in Mariner's Park to celebrate Canada's birthday. On July 1st, locals and visitors gather at Mariner's Memorial Park on 1st Ave E and McBride St. Ethnic foods, live music, and other entertainment that represent Canada's cultural mosaic are enjoyed on this day. Birthday cake is served by the Mayor and other local VIP's to anyone who wants a taste of sweetness. The day culminates with fireworks over the harbour that light up the summer sky upon dusk.

This event will include a BV Pool's Canadian Kids Triathlon, a Canada Day Carnival & Family Field Day, including cake cutting & the national anthem.

Terrace's Canada Day Celebration includes community events such as a theatrical performance, First Nations feast & ceremonial dancing.

Our whole community invites you to come out and Celebrate Canada's Birthday with us. Parade at 11:00 am, events at Cottonwood Park for the afternoon then fireworks at 11:00 pm

Join in celebrating Canada Day this July 1st in Fernie! Following is what took place in 2012: events for the whole family, such as the Bike & Pet parade, face painting, petting zoo, Mountain Market, entertainment stage with live music, refreshment garden, Bouncy Houses, Treasure Hunt, Fireworks. Celebrate Canada Day at Memorial Peace Park. Festivities take place from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Begin your day with a visit to the Haney Farmers Market followed up with lots of interactive activities for children and families. The official ceremonies, flag-raising and awards will begin at 12:30. Entertainment, singing, dancing, activities, food and fun continue throughout the day!

Check out Fort St John's Annual Canada Day Celebrations on Monday, July 1st! Start the festivities with the FREE pancake breakfast and inter-faith church service in Centennial Park. Then join us for the Canada Day Parade and make your way back to Centennial Park to enjoy live entertainment, inflatable bouncy toys, children's activities and story time, artist show & sale, and the Farmers' Market! Complete your day with an amazing fireworks display at dusk.
