Dust off your red & white gear and join us for a full day of free family fun to celebrate our great nation and being Canadian. The daytime festival is at iconic Canada Place and surrounding streets on July 1, followed by the 5th annual Canada Day Parade at 7:00 pm, and the Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks show at 10:30 pm. 11:00 am Canada Day Parade, with cake & refreshments to follow at the Rec Centre. Public Swim from 10:00 am-4:00 pm; free if you can prove you are Canadian. At the Rec Centre, enjoy family activities from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm, followed by fireworks at Rotary Park at dusk.

Join us to celebrate our national holiday for a full day of culture, arts, music and festivities at Riverside Park. The day begins with a Lions Pancake breakfast and ends with a colourful display of fireworks.

Features a pancake breakfast by the Rotary Club & Root Beer Garden by the Lions. Entertainment includes the Lake Country Big Band, a variety of local talented musicians, games & rides for youth, including demonstrations by the Fire Department.

Join us on July 1st in Nakusp, with a Pancake Breakfast by the volunteer firefighters, a parade, and then a variety of activities at the community park such as kid's races, games, a concession, and music in the gazebo. As the skatepark lies adjacent to the community park, it is not unusual for a skateboard competition to be held the same day. A fireworks show tops it all off just after dark.
