From 5:00-8:00 pm, dress up and give your halloween costume a work out at our Spooktacular Pumpkin Walk at Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park on Whitworth Road just off Gellatly Road in West Kelowna.

Stroll along the paths through the historic nut orchard that will be illuminated by decorated and creatively carved pumpkins.

To enter your pumpkin, drop it off Sunday, October 26 between 3:00-5:00 pm. Pumpkins voted 'Best of' in several categories win prizes!

Don't forget to bring along a donation for the West Kelowna Food Bank.

For this month we wonder about how Halloween was celebrated a century ago. Join us in your fanciest costumes as Old Town becomes a place for tricks and treats. Wonder Sunday is an interactive, learning-based special event that happens from 1-3pm on the last Sunday of every month (excluding December, July and August). A theme, based on ideas inspired from our current exhibitions, is offered through activities and lively presentations for families.

Trick-or-treat at Fort Langley National Historic Site, and discover surprises along the way! This year's event features magic shows with Scary Gary the Pirate. Show times are at 11:30 pm, 12:45 pm and 2:00 pm each day. Decorate a pumpkin, get your face painted, and make a craft. The Full Barrel Café will be serving up a Halloween menu. Join us for a Halloween mystery tour inside the historic Cannery. Times are 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $5 for youth. Set in the 1940s during a contentious fisherman's union vote, there's been a murder at the Cannery and the police have arrived to investigate the case. Choose your own adventure, the outcome of the mystery depends on the votes of the audience.

Spirits be haunting, spectres be creeping, and banshees be wailing. Wear your ghostly garb and come join the fun. Dick Cadaver hosts "The Bone Shaker Ball" on Main Street; savour tasty toes at the Butcher's Block Cafe; make a withdrawal at the Blood Bank & enjoy the Circus Sideshow and ride the carousel.
