The coolest summer event is the Mile 0 Summer Cruise. Each year Dawson Creek's Mile 0 downtown section is blocked off to hold a show and shine of 250+ rides from all over the Peace River District and guests from all over BC and Alberta or further.

Hot July Nights is the annual car and motorcycle show in 100 Mile House, a free family event held in our beautiful Centennial Park. More than 200 vehicles and motorcycles are expected. There are major prize draws for registered participants including a Chevy small block crate engine valued at $3200, four $500 gift certificates and one $250 gift certificate. July 11 features a scenic cruise in the area with the 100 Mile House Cruzers Car Club. July 12 is early registration and activities. The Show 'n Shine opens in the park on Sunday, July 13 at 10:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. We have food vendors, live music and activities for everyone. Handicapped parking on-site is available for spectators.

The Airshow is an aviation festival that has grown well beyond its borders over the past 5 decades. With a role from very early on as a significant stop on the 'Airshow Circuit,' Abbotsford has distinguished itself as an event on aviation excellence, aerospace advancement & community participation.
The line-up includes fighter jets, experimental aircraft, cargo planes, vintage, helicopters, small corporate jets & speciality surveillance planes.

Nelson's Queen City Cruise, the city of Nelson's only car show, has continued to grow since the first cruise in 2003. Car collectors from far & wide find the appeal to show off their cars in the heritage city. Nelson offers big city cosmopolitan dining, unique shopping & lodging in the beautiful setting on Kootenay Lake. Saturday morning begins the show on historic Baker Street in downtown Nelson. Trophy presentations are at approximately 3:30 pm, followed by a poker run & later on in the evening, a rooftop dance at the Nelson Parkade. It's fun for the whole family.
