The Vancouver Canucks Young Stars Classic returns to the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) for the 2014 Vancouver Canucks Young Stars Classic. The round-robin tournament will feature top prospects from the Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Winnipeg Jets!

Ticket packages, which include a ticket to each of the six games including a free ticket to a Penticton Vees exhibition game on Saturday, September 14. $15 single game tickets, $25 double header tickets, and packages are available online or by phone and in person at the Valley First Box Office (at the SOEC) or at the Penticton and Wine Country Visitor Centre.

Curated by Richmond Art Gallery Director Rachel Rosenfield Lafo, the exhibition will feature several diverse public art projects representing the different ways public art is funded in Richmond - through civic funding, private development, community projects, and the program's newer series of temporary projects and socially engaged artist performances. The goal of the exhibition is to reveal the mysteries of the public art process, its role in cultural planning strategy, the possibilities it offers for community participation and its value to the community.

It is estimated that between the 1920s and mid-1970s, two kilometres of tunnels were built beneath the old Tranquille sanatorium and former tuberculosis hospital. In a one hour, fun filled experience; tunnel goers will venture into the tunnel system and learn about its secrets as well as embark on a wagon tour of the old Tranquille village by night.

This special tour of the BC Sports Hall of Fame gains you access behind the scenes at BC Place, one of Canada's most modern stadiums. Join us as we walk exclusively through areas of the stadium such as the media rooms, luxury suites and the locker rooms of the BC Lions and the Vancouver Whitecaps (when available). You even get to walk onto the actual field and enjoy a tremendous view of BC Place. Afterwards visitors can relive the excitement of the 2010 Olympics Games in the Hall of Fame's Vancouver 2010 Gallery and participate in numerous interactive activities in the participation zone.
