Join us for lively musical entertainment as we celebrate BC Day with a fun day for the kids! Jump aboard with unlimited train rides, bouncy castle, games, and a concession! This annual event is a family favourite and brings out the inner child in everyone!

The museum opens at 10 am and closes at 4:30 pm. The train runs from 11:00 am - 4 pm, on the half hour. Regular admission rates apply and this event is included in BCFDC memberships.

The 91st Annual Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede features 4 days of Agricultural Fair contests and exhibits along with 5 days of World Professional Chuckwagon and Western Professional Chuckwagon races. Friday includes a Downtown Parade and a "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" Fundraiser. All day-everyday enjoy West Coast Amusement thrill rides, the Trade Fair, Sound Stage and nightly live band in the Watering Hole.

Best of the West is an event where West Vancouver will be celebrating BC's best (timely with BC day). There will be 13 participating wineries and 13 participating restaurants. The restaurant will be in charge of creating a dish to go with the wine given by the winery. There will also be a competition that night. The guests will be asked to choose the best food and wine pairing of the evening. There will be a draw from the people who entered their vote. The winning person will receive a gift certificate from the winning restaurant for $100.

Cariboo Chilcotin Metis Association and the BC Metis Federation are hosting a Summer Music Festival August 8 - 11 at the McLeese Lake Community Hall; Admission by donation. Entertainers from all over the province, with confirmed performances by Country Calibre, Raymond Leslie, Rosetta Paxton, The Luciers, Rivers Edge Fiddle & Stuff, Beverly Lambert, Skeena North. There will also be an open mic session.

Delight in witty dialogue performed once again by the talented troupe, Penticton Chamber Theatre, paired with our award-winning wine all in a breathtaking setting.
