On July 28th, the Colwood Rotary Club will host our 2nd Annual Art & Wine Festival at picturesque Fort Rodd Hill & Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites overlooking the Salish Sea & the Olympic Mountains. Our festival brings community together for a great time while raising awareness & funds for Rotary community service projects that improve quality of life for people here at home & around the world. Over 30 local artists, Samplings of wines from Vancouver Island & BC wineries, Art Demos, Music by Island Big Band & other local muscians.

Join us for a fun, family day. Start the day off with Jog for the Bog, a trail walk/run through Burns Bog. Stay for the fun and celebrate International Bog Day, a celebration of bogs the world over, with free entertainment for all.

Run through super natural Burns Bog. For all ages and abilities. Why? Have fun and support the Burns Bog Conservation Society's education programs, maintenance of the Delta Nature Reserve boardwalks and outreach campaign; International Bog Days celebrations with free entertainment, prizes and all day bog tours by donation.

On July 28, take a stroll through Fort Rodd Hill National Historic site, sip a glass of wine, view the works of local artists, and know that you are helping to support our community. Colwood Rotary's Art & Wine Festival brings BC & island wineries & local artists together at a picturesque oceanside setting. A ticket gains entrance to Fort Rodd Hill, a keep-sake glass, five samples of wine, appetizing bites from WestShore's top chefs & the opportunity to view the works of local artists while enjoying local musicians. Proceeds from this event go towards Rotary projects.

GIGANTOUR-the critically acclaimed package festival founded in 2005 by MEGADETH's Dave Mustaine-returns in 2013 with an incredible new line-up for the tour. In addition to headliner MEGADETH, the multi-artist bill features metal heavyweights BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DEVICE, HELLYEAH, NEWSTED and DEATH DIVISION, all personally picked by MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine.

Musical all-star Michael Burgess brings his music back to the winery on July 31st! Performing in CedarCreek's spectacular Vineyard Pavilion, the gates will open to ticket patrons at 6:30 pm with the concert beginning at 7:00 pm and playing until the sun sets. This is a charity event and proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Centre for the Arts.

Join us for the 35th Annual Coombs Country Bluegrass Festival. Enjoy some of the finest bluegrass on the contintent. Watch or partake in some of the best parkin' lot pickin' you've ever seen. Slow pitch jams, instrument raffle and numerous workshops on how to play bluegrass or your instrument. Performers this year include The Foggy Hogtown Boys, Mark Phillips & 3rd Generation, 5 On A String, Just Us, The Backroom Boys, The Barley Brothers, Blue Toques, Moonshiners, Riverside Bluegrass Band.

Squamish Days is a weekend full of excitement, fun & action aimed to make every member of the family smile. There are music events, children's activities, a parade, wacky bed races, a 10 km run, pancake breakfast & 2 world-class Loggers Sports Shows with competitors from all around the world. This event showcases not only Squamish's rich heritage, but also it's strong & vibrant community spirit. We look forward to seeing you this summer.
