Join the Kamloops Museum & Archives on a haunted tour that will explore scary burial grounds, historical spooky spots and various locations where the echoes of hangings, murders, and forgotten souls can still be heard creeping around. Wednesday tours are family friendly, the others are not suitable for younger audiences. Driving will be required. Please note, this is not a haunted house tour. These tours sell out every year, so register early!

Spirits be haunting, spectres be creeping, and banshees be wailing. Wear your ghostly garb and come join the fun. Dick Cadaver hosts "The Bone Shaker Ball" on Main Street; savour tasty toes at the Butcher's Block Cafe; make a withdrawal at the Blood Bank & enjoy the Circus Sideshow and ride the carousel.

Entrance includes trick-or-treating for the children and unlimited carousel rides for all. Tickets available at the door.

Calling all artists the 6x6 Auction is back, this year with a theme, "Song Titles"! The 6x6 Auction is a fun community art exhibition and silent auction fundraiser. Everyone in the community is invited to take part - simply create a 6"x6"-sized work of art inspired by a song title, using any art medium or style. All the artwork will be exhibited at the Smithers Art Gallery for four days, October 21-24, with bidding by silent auction. Bidding ends at a Wine & Cheese Event on Friday October 24, 7.00pm-9.30pm. Victoria-based artist Robert Youds' light installation, For Everyone a Sunset, draws upon the architectural vernacular of downtown Vancouver. Youds references the urban surroundings by using their associated materials-aluminium framework, salvaged glass, LED lighting-to construct a sculptural query that creates a space for audiences to contemplate the urban experience.
