On Saturday, June 8th at 7:30 PM, the historic St. Andrew's-Wesley church will ring with the joyful sounds of Vancouver's 90-voice City Soul Choir, directed by Brian Tate. SOULUNPLUGGED is an evening of a cappella music. This concert is unique for the City Soul Choir, who usually performs with a rocking gospel/soul band. Brian says: "For centuries, the ecstatic sound of unaccompanied voices singing together in sacred spaces has proved to be unequalled in power and beauty. The choir will perform African, Gregorian, and Native American chants, spirituals, gospel, folk and classical selections - music to touch, heal, excite, and inspire.
