Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. RED HERRING is a rollicking comedy spoof on the forensic cop show genre. The story revolves around the mysterious and gruesome murder of the lovely Svetlana. Solving the mystery calls for the forensic skills of two investigators from the Smithsonian, a gullible FBI agent, and a dim-witted Washington, DC cop. Along the way, they run afoul of the Russian mafia, a belligerent lesbian model combat helicopter pilot, and a bogus breast implant surgeon. Confounding their investigation are numerous "red herrings" and (unmentionable) exploding body parts. A cast of four well-known local actors together play 11 roles, switching characters, costumes, and accents with remarkable dexterity. For director Chris Moss, it's "the funniest play I've ever directed!" Don't miss it!

A poetic reflection on love. The Isle, written by leading Hong Kong playwright Paul Poon, depicts one couple's encounter on a remote island where their past and present overlap. As they ask the question "do we stay or leave?" a battle of wills unfolds that leads to a surprising and dramatic finale. Witty and touched with pathos, Poon's play is a compassionate yet skeptical take on enduring love.

Venture into our city's most gruesome history - when Vancouver was a frontier town of hustlers and thieves, vagabonds and bawdy girls. You will hear stories of: Vancouver's first madam, who built a glamorous Gastown bawdy house before the city even had a school; a long-forgotten plague that clutched the city in its feverish grasp; the terror of the fire that ate-up Gastown in minutes and sent people sprinting for their lives down Water Street; a Klondike Gold Rush beauty, who had her heart broken - and her pocketbook looted - by a ruthless theatre magnate; and, the city's oldest unsolved murder - the death of prospector John Bray.

The tour ventures through Gastown, where many of Vancouver's most historic buildings are located.
