Triathlon sponsored by Pharmasave welcomes adults and kids ages 7 to 12 to participate. Adults: 750 m swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run starts at 9:30 am. Kids: 100 m swim, 6 km bike and 2 km run. Start time 8:30 am.

This is the event for dog lovers! Bring your pup out to show him off in the parade of breeds, and enter your pooch in contests for biggest dog, smallest dog, best dressed and best trick. Watch obedience and agility demonstrations, talk to pet organizations, and shop the vendors while you let your pup socialize with others.

This day-long event offers visitors an exciting opportunity to take a self-guided tour of selected sites, featuring uniquely designed, built homes & glorious west coast gardens.The beautiful homes & gardens chosen for this special tour will awe, delight & inspire you. Proceeds from this event help fund many community programs & services delivered by People for a Healthy Community. Join us June 23, 2013 for the 15th annual Scotiabank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5k Run/Walk.

This event is Canada's easiest scenic half-marathon, running past beaches, with mountains in the background, and finishing in Stanley Park, with a net drop of 76 metres (250 feet).

The half-marathon start time is 7 am, while the 5k starts at 9 am.

Featuring vocalists Chelsea Kutyn, Jennifer Sanders, Timothy Kyle and Stan Davis - backed by a 3-piece band - the group performs hit songs from such artists as the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, the Fifth Dimension... and many others. Kingfisher Community Farmers' Market is located at the Community Hall in Mabel Lake on Wednesdays in July and August. The market includes baked goods, bread & buns, pies & tarts, beeswax dipped candles, ceramics, honey, jewelry, local produce, plants, pottery and smoked meats. The cafeteria includes coffee, tea and baked goods.
