The Osoyoos Desert Centre, located 3 km north of Osoyoos off Hwy 97, is a nature interpretive centre where visitors can learn about desert ecology, habitat restoration & conservation of endangered ecosystems in the South Okanagan. The Centre offers visitors an opportunity to explore Canada's desert by taking a guided or self-guided tour along a 1.5 km wooden boardwalk. The range itself has 13 individual lanes with motorized target return system, allowing for almost no cease-fires. The lanes are 17 yards long & allow for any pistol calibre, carbine rifles & shotguns to be fired.
