The Osoyoos Desert Centre, located 3 km north of Osoyoos off Hwy 97, is a nature interpretive centre where visitors can learn about local wildlife, desert ecology and conservation of endangered ecosystems in the South Okanagan. The Centre offers visitors an opportunity to explore Canada's desert by taking a guided or self-guided tour along a 1.5 km wooden boardwalk. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities and exhibits in the interpretive centre or take a stroll through the native plant demonstration garden.

DVC is the only Indoor Shooting Centre in BC that rents firearms to the public, meaning you do not need a firearms license to attend the range or try shooting for the first time. Our range is also fully heated & air-conditioned.

Our friendly & knowledgeable staff are here to provide you with the necessary supervision to make your experience safe & enjoyable. At any time, one of our many staff members can answer any & all of your questions regarding recreational or competitive shooting.

The range itself has 13 individual lanes with motorized target return system, allowing for almost no cease-fires. The lanes are 17 yards long & allow for any pistol calibre, carbine rifles & shotguns to be fired.

Maplewood is a municipal park/farm operated by the Parks Department of the District of North Vancouver; located on 2.5 beautiful pastoral ha, mins from downtown Vancouver. Specializing in the display & care of domestic farm animals & birds, the Farm offers three areas where folks can go inside & visit with the animals: Rabbitat where the bunnies reside; Goathill where the goat kids & their moms play; & the Duck Yard where the ducks & geese hang out. A milking demonstration is conducted daily at 1:15 pm featuring the Jersey cow, Lima. Pony rides are available seasonally. Admission is $7.75 per adult /$4.75 per child & senior.
