Visit this BC Hydro Visitor Centre & learn more about the Revelstoke Dam. The complex is comprised of a 175 m (575 ft) high concrete gravity dam, a 122 m (400 ft) high earthfill dam on the west bank of the river & the powerhouse. Self-guided tours feature the power generation story and admittance to the First Nations display area. New interactive exhibits in the Visitor Centre show how the project was built & illustrates various aspects of power production. A gift shop and theatre are also on-site. Guided tours also available.
