A rare heritage attraction nestled at the confluence of the Kootenay & Columbia rivers. This museum, on traditional orchard land, will introduce you to the unique skills, beliefs, culture & lifestyle of the Doukhobors as was lived circa 1908-1939.

This complete communal village offers videos, thousands of artifacts, the communal house with petch (oven), the banya (sauna), linen textiles and other crafts. The Village Gift Shop features art displays and Doukhobor Arts & Crafts for sale, CDs, books, videos and cards.

The Village Market (the blue building) is host to The Apple Guy who sells fresh produce and locally made borscht. The Village Bistro Restaurant is currently closed for renovations.

The New Denver Visitor Centre overlooks Slocan Lake and is located in a historic building which housed the first Bank of Montreal in British Columbia but is now home to the Silvery Slocan Museum.
