Recently my wife and I drove the Alaska highways and did some exploring in the Northwest part of BC.  We found an incredible white sand beach near Bella Coola that was just out of this world.  Not a mosquito to be seen and the water was warm enough for swimming.

I highly recommend a trip out this way
