Of the beaten path slightly - but well worth the Ferry trip from Campbell River is this park beach on Malcolm Island.

It's secluded, peaceful and the greatest number of multicoloured smooth pebbles....
We came home with a few to remember the trip by.

Chesterman Beach in Tofino is a yearly pilgrimage for our family. We spend time beachcombing, surfing, watching the tide come and go, and looking for the telltale fins and flukes of passing pods of whales.
