My favorite great find was when my husband and I decided to get married ON the water, and the way we decided to do that was by marrying on the 14th street wharf in West Vancouver.  After getting permits, organizing the ceremony, and all the usual wedding preparations, we pulled it off with just a brief rain shower shortly before the  "I DO's" began.  All our guests said  how beautiful it was and what a clever idea to get married outside at such an interesting site, with the Lionsgate Bridge and Stanley Park sitting majestically in the background.  It was a dream come true and will always be a wonderful memory.  Everytime we go to Ambleside Beach we look over to where we wed and back at each other with a huge smile.  When we stroll on Marine Drive, window shopping or relaxing over a light snack, we see the beautiful neighborhood with the lovely flowers and the call of the ocean in the backgroud and again remember our special day.
