I've spent my past few birthdays now at Kw'o:kw'e:hala and they have been among my most magical yet! 2 years ago I visited on my own and I spent my birthday hiking the Hope-Nicola Valley Trail with Sue. My most recent birthday I brought my boyfriend (now fiancee) to Kw'o:kw'e:hala with me and we spent the day lounging about in our cabin reading books and listening to the rain on the roof. Both were truly different and perfect days!

The property has a wood-fired hot tub and a wood-fired sauna (both are amazing) and an outdoor shower and fire-pit (who doesn't love a good campfire!). It has it's own private beach and is very easy access to the spectacular Kettle Valley Railway Tunnels at Othello. It's very peaceful here, you are right on the river, and Sue is a fabulous cook! She has created a lovely garden so much of what you eat is very fresh.

Henry and Sue are wonderful hosts and great people and now friends. Kw'o:kw'e:hala offers a unique experience in a beautiful setting and is worth exploring for a week or weekend or anything in between.
