It's amazing! On Red Willow Guest Ranch you are allowed to ride the whole day, if you want you can go on your own.
I took part at the gymkhana near Green Lake - perfect for all riders.
Very friendly people there and I met lots of other nice guests! Hope to see you again!

Checked out this great place in Yaletown last week called Raw Canvas. It is a funky space (brick walls, big wooden beams, long share tables, well-stocked bar) where you can have some tapas (cheese and meats), a drink (great wine selection) and then..the main event....you take your glass of wine to the other end of the room where there are 20 or 30 easels set up and smock-cloaked 'artists' creating magic on canvas. You choose/buy the size of canvas that suits your idea/budget and they set you up with an array of paints, brushes and other tips and techniques and you go for it. Great atmosphere as people check out each other's creations. We were really impressed with not only our piece, but with all the works of art heading home with their owners. It was fun for two, but would be great as a group outing. I kept thinking that it would be a great memory for anyone visiting Vancouver...maybe they could paint one of their favourite Vancouver landmarks, like we did.

This little waterfall is one of many in Gowlland Tod Provincial Park. Walk through the canopy of the rainforest on any level of hiking trail you like.

This was a pretty lake to camp on. There was a small fee for this forest rec site. The campsite locations are right on the lake. We didn't swim here after seeing some leeches.... :S But it was a nice quiet place to set up camp and relax!

The Hurley Mountain Pass is perhaps my favorite drive in BC.
It took about 4 hours to travel the 60 or so km in my car. We came across a couple of the 4x4s that I let pass stopped with blown tires. And one jeep fresh on its roof. I think this road claims a lot of vehicles and parts and especially tires! "Wilderness FSR. 2WD not recommended."
It runs from Pemberton Meadows to Gold Bridge. There are lots of big rocks on the road so take er easy or you'll be buying new tires :)
(Well worth it even if you have to buy new tires!)

Beautiful drive! The scenery from this drive is awesome! You see canyons, rivers, steep cliffs and wildlife! It was quite smokey for us with all the wildfires burning. Still breath-taking.
One lane in places with lots of pull outs for oncoming traffic. We did the drive in a Honda Civic in August with no trouble.
This is a must see drive in the beautiful BC interior!

The Cinnamon Forest Rec Site is situated on BC's beautiful Cayoosh Creek. There was no fee for camping. We stayed here in early August. The water was very cold but can be waded in to cool off. The creek is rapid so you can listen to the water during your visit.
We also checked out nearby Rogers Creek Forest Rec Site. Also beautiful, but we loved Cinnamon.
This is on of my list: top 5 favorite places to camp.
