This was the highlight of my trip, dog sledding!

I was picked up from my hotel a driven a short way to meet the team, all thirty-plus Huskies. Located just outside of Kimberley Mountain Resort is Adrenaline Dog Tours. The great thing about this outfit is they teach you how to harness and hook up the dogs. But the best part is, they let you drive!

After a recommendation from one of the locals, I decide to take a lesson on glass bead making.

I had no idea how much fun this would be.  The class is offered right at the base of Panorama Mountain resort and is definitely worth trying.

Once people understand the technique, they are encouraged to rent the torches the following day to hone their newly acquired skills.

I decided to take a guided snowmobile tour ten minutes outside of Panorama Mountain.

After a brief safety meeting and a short obstacle course, we started the ride up to a bowl full of fresh powder.
If you feel like you have enough energy, ask one of the guides to take you to the completely frozen waterfall. As you will see in the video, it's worth the hike.

After a good day on Panorama Mountain, I decided to go on the Snowshoe Sushi Tour.

This was my introduction to the new style of snowshoes. A small group of people and I tracked all over the mountain until we reached are final destination, sushi and sake.

If you pay attention, you will notice how some of the women were running in snowshoes!

Before snowboarding on Kicking Horse Mountain, I decided to give the Tube Park a try!

This is definitely the activity for the whole family. I launched into a fast and smooth ride while one of the locals showed me how to get some serious air!

After a great day of snowboarding Kicking Horse Mountain, I decided to try my hand at rock climbing!

Located ten minutes from Kicking Horse mountain in the town of Golden, is a little spot called the Dog Tooth Climbing Gym. The main floor is for trying your hand at regular rock climbing. The second floor is for something called bouldering, that's where I decided to give it a try. What a blast!

The Village Idiot is a great Après-ski spot in the heart of Revelstoke B.C.

I managed to make it through a snowstorm to visit this well-recommended place. To my surprise, so had most of the town!

The cool thing about this restaurant is when you make a group reservation, a three course meal is served to everyone by the restaurant chef who you can watch make your meal. Plus there's a different meal theme every night!  The rest of the evening you are welcome to try your hand at the guitar and chat with other guest by the fire.
