I spent 9 days in BC last summer travelling with my 9 year-old son. The highlight of our adventure was in the heart of the interior of British Columbia prettymuch on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. We rafted down the 'mighty' Kicking Horse as they call it, or the Kicking Horse River. We went with a company in golden british columbia called Alpine Rafting....they are awesome!
In addition, we also spent a few hours exploring the town of Golden once our rafting trip was over...a gondola ride, some shopping and we saw some deer right downtown!If you're looking for a family adventure, the Kicking Horse River and Alpine Rafting are a must-do in golden british columbia
