Making your way east towards Jasper from Prince George is a little town of McBride which makes for an excellent stop to stretch your legs. In McBride they have a really cool ice cream shack called Crazy Cones. They were closed the first time I went through McBride, but on the way back I was determined to stop there again and I am glad that I did. It was an excellent stop for ice cream, sandwiches, smoothies and milkshakes, and other snacks that I really recommend. Anyone could make the regular stops at gas stations, but this is a really good stop and a much better option just off the highway. You can’t miss the place as it’s brightly coloured exterior makes it easy to find. Make your next stop in McBride at Crazy Cones and you will be really glad that you did.
