The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre in Whistler, BC is definitively a must see! Ghana's Olympic skier know as the Snow Leopard and Tourism BC Field Reporter Chris Wheeler explore the Aboriginal museum that showcases the local Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations through art and exhibits. They even sample some traditional food and join in on the Chief Jimmy Jimmy Dance! The Squamish and Lil'wat hosts are very friendly and the centre offers visitors a truly immersive experience of the two nations rich cultures.

I went down to Vancouver's Plaza of Nations for the Ultimate Saturday of the 2009 World Police and Fire Games. There I watched the Dragon Boat races and the Ultimate Firefighter competition and asked a few of the competitors what they thought of Vancouver.  What an amazing event!

Along with the Snow Leopard's family, they canoe Alta lake, mountain bike the valley trails, and end the day Zip Trekking! This was an action packed day... and I tell you, it's not easy trying to keep up with a Snow Leopard!

I took a trip out to Burnaby to watch some of the free events during the 2009 World Police and Fire Games. With over 10,000 athletes participating from 56 different countries in all sorts of events that are all free to the public this is definitely worth checking out.
