Soar hundreds of feet above the valley floor and whiz past old-growth forests...and then tell the world about it! Ziplining in Whistler is just one activity to share on Hellobc.com/blogs.

I checked out the 2009 Canadian Open Freeskiing Championships at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland. Some of the best freeskiers from around the world ripped down the face of one of freeskiing's most challenging venues...Mt. Roberts!

These guys and gals went huge, dropping cliffs and entertaining us spectators. The
athletes were judged on line choice, fluidity, technique, aggression and control. Make sure you visit Red Mountain Resort next year when this event is going on and watch these guys rip!

I went for a walking journey through Downtown Vancouver and then took off on a Seaplane adventure into the Coast Mountain Range! The views were spectacular and we ended up landing on a "secret" alpine lake! Talk about a beautiful slice of BC!

I checked out the cozy North Shore village of Deep Cove, jumped into a kayak and ventured into the narrow fjord of Indian Arm in the heart of the Coast Mountain Range! What a beautiful place and it is so close to downtown Vancouver!

I was taking a stroll around Stanley Park and during my wanders I ran into some raccoons who gave me some great advice to go for a ride on the Horse Carriage! We are so lucky to have such a huge park right by downtown Vancouver. Happy 120th Anniversary Stanley Park!

I headed up to Whistler to meet some friends and before I knew it I was ripping down the mountain on a downhill bike. Hanging on for dear life, I tried to keep up with the crew. After that experience, I'm pretty sure I'm already addicted to the sport!

Whistler Mountain Bike Park celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and offers over 250 kms of trails for all levels of riders. You got to check it out.

After checking out Granville Island, I ran into a couple girls and asked what I should do with the rest of my day. They said that I definitely have to see the views from the top of Grouse Mountain and rip down the Zipline!

Cruising all around Vancouver for the day I was starting to build up an appetite. So I asked people on the street where they recommend I go for some scenery and a bite. Next thing I know I'm off to find the best fish & chips on Granville Island!
