Soar hundreds of feet above the valley floor and whiz past old-growth forests...and then tell the world about it! Ziplining in Whistler is just one activity to share on Hellobc.com/blogs.

After a great day of snowboarding Kicking Horse Mountain, I decided to try my hand at rock climbing!

Located ten minutes from Kicking Horse mountain in the town of Golden, is a little spot called the Dog Tooth Climbing Gym. The main floor is for trying your hand at regular rock climbing. The second floor is for something called bouldering, that's where I decided to give it a try. What a blast!

The Village Idiot is a great Après-ski spot in the heart of Revelstoke B.C.

I managed to make it through a snowstorm to visit this well-recommended place. To my surprise, so had most of the town!

The Old Bauernhaus restaurant serves delicious German food and is over three hundred years old. Located five minutes from the base of Kimberley Mountain resort, this restaurant has survived everything including the Black Plaque!

The cool thing about this restaurant is when you make a group reservation, a three course meal is served to everyone by the restaurant chef who you can watch make your meal. Plus there's a different meal theme every night!  The rest of the evening you are welcome to try your hand at the guitar and chat with other guest by the fire.

What I love the most about Kimberley Mountain is the fact the entire mountain is always open! When you get a good snowfall, it turns into a winter playground. A great time to visit this mountain is right after the holidays. This is when you can really avoid the crowds and take advantage of the open runs.

I team up with the "Mountain Friends" and get a tour of the mountain. The great thing about this mountain is it's wide range of runs from beginner to advance.  I then hit the "Show Off" park to see some insane skiers defy gravity.

Come for a mush! I headed into the cool little town of Fernie and took a ride with Fernie Dog Sledding. The team of Alaskan Huskies take you on an exciting outdoor adventure through the spectacular Elk Valley wilderness near Fernie, British Columbia! You even get to try mushing! These dogs love to run and my favorite travel partner was Peggy... you'll see at the end of this vid!
