Kootenay National Park's largest campground, Redstreak is located 2 km above Radium Hot Springs on a sunny plateau. Close to the village & all it has to offer - golfing, shopping, restaurants - Redstreak is an ideal destination for families & couples looking for a variety of services while enjoying the outdoors. Ten new tent-cabins known as oTENTiks are available for rent. A network of trails connect the campground to the village, hot springs & the Redstreak Restoration Project. The Redstreak Restoration Project is restoring the grassland/open forest ecosystems & maintaining the Bighorn winter range. A National Parks entry pass required. Taxes included in rates. We have 6 cosy, rustic cabins with modern amenities. Each has a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, satellite TV with VCR &/or DVD, a queen bed, bathroom with a shower & a propane BBQ on the deck. 4 of our cabins have either full kitchens or kitchenettes with 2 burner hot plates, bar fridges, pots, pans, dishes etc & a wood-burning fireplace. The cabins accommodate from 2-6 people. Large inner yard with trampoline & firepit. Small store on site, with pop, water, chips, assorted amenities. Great prices. Mountain views; gateway to Bugaboos & Columbia River Wetlands; canoe rentals; hiking, rock climbing, golfing, snowmobiling, skiing, biking, bird watching.
