Now open year-round. Located in the Rocky Mountains, the campground is situated on the majestic Kicking Horse River. The campground is near an outdoor pool, green gym, playground, skateboard park, hiking, cycling trails & the downtown core and Kicking Horse Resort. There is a Children's Spray Park. We have a free sani-dump station, convenience store, RV supplies & parts store, laundry facilities, amenity hub with hot showers & picnic shelter. (2011) Bike Rentals. 32 serviced sites & 40 unserviced tent sites; presently all pull-throughs unserviced; 30 amp & 15 amp sites. All campsites have firepits and we do sell firewood. Free WiFi.

Camping facilities include everything necessary to make your stay comfortable, convenient and fun. There are first class support buildings accessible to RVers and tent campers. Most of all, we've got 160 hectares (400 acres) of camping paradise with peace and quiet that is often in such short supply at many mountain campgrounds during the high season. There are open fields, treed campsites, outstanding Rocky Mountain views, forest areas and natural wet lands - a prime bird sanctuary. A paragliding and hang gliding flight park forms the southern boundary of the property. The fully-catered Events Pavilion accommodates weddings and family get-togethers.

The best camping near Golden and Revelstoke BC, may just be here, in what many call 'paradise'. Enjoy spectacular views, fishing, swimming, boat launch, docks, hiking & ATV trails, or as many do: just put your feet up & relax. Lakefront cabins with kitchenette, electric heat, toilets, hot showers, nice beds, private picnic table & firepit & beautiful views from individual decks/yards right over the lake. Waterfront & interior RV sites up to 20 m (65 ft) with electricity, water, sani dump (sani dump for 2+ nights stay only). Secluded waterfront & interior tent sites in main campground. Two group camp areas.
