This high altitude campground is located in a predominately sub-alpine spruce forest with beautiful mountain vistas. Marble Canyon Campground makes an excellent base camp to access the network of trails that serve the north end of Kootenay National Park as well as the Castle Junction and Lake Louise areas of Banff National Park and the eastern portion of Yoho National Park. The open grasslands of the meadows & the nearby river makes ideal habitat for wildlife viewing. In the early summer, the orchids bloom in the nearby meadows.
