The Park offers a rustic family-oriented camping adventure with fishing, swimming & boating opportunities; day use area; drinking water; pit toilets; firepits; walking trails; beach area; canoeing; kayaking; reservations accepted.

Buttle Lake & Ralph River campgrounds offer serene base camps, where one can spend days on any of the 52 km of hiking trails that venture into the wilderness mountains of Strathcona; reservations accepted. The rest of the park is largely undeveloped & appeals primarily to people seeking wilderness surroundings. To see & enjoy much of the scenic splendor requires hiking or backpacking into the alpine regions.

Well known for the annual run of Pacific Salmon from Sept-Dec, moving up the fish ladders on their way to spawning beds; day use area; pit toilets; fire pits; walking trails; fishing.
