Nestled in the beautiful Purcell Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, Yasodhara Ashram is an oasis of peace & beauty. The 49 ha (120 ac) of lush forest on spectacular Kootenay Lake & 48 years of spiritual practice combine to make the ashram a sanctuary for the senses. Our programs range from yoga retreats, teacher training & the 3-month Yoga Development course to karma yoga & programs for young adults. Your stay includes a morning hatha yoga class & mostly vegetarian meals supplemented by produce from our organic garden & evening Satsang in the Temple of Divine Light.

Kicking Horse Campground is the largest campground in Yoho National Park. This scenic campground offers riverside sites, a variety of secluded treed sites & an open meadow that offers stunning views of Cathedral Mountain. Its central location provides the perfect opportunity for exploring Yoho. Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, Takakkaw Falls & Spiral Tunnels are all within close proximity. Two short walking trails originate within the campground. All amenities are available in the nearby town of Field. Taxes included in rates. Takakkaw Falls Campground is located at the top of the Yoho Valley Rd. This walk-in campground features spectacular panoramic vistas amid the splendor & roar of Takakkaw Falls. It is the gateway to the Little Yoho Valley & is the main trailhead for Laughing Falls, Twin Falls, Ice Line, Whaleback & Yoho Glacier Trails.
