Dining
Dining opportunities are very limited in the Anahim area, with just a couple of restaurants. Most accommodations provide either in-house dining or kitchen facilities for visitors. There are three grocery stores in town.
Restaurants
Eagle's Nest Resort, a ten-minute drive west of Anahim Lake, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During the summer, fireside dining is available on the screened verandah. During the holiday season, the surrounding grounds glow with 4,000 lights.
Groceries and Supplies
Turn off the highway into "downtown" Anahim Lake to Christensen's Store, where the sign proudly proclaims, "If we haven't got it, you don't need it!" Anahim Lake Trading Store, just down the road from Christensen's, has groceries as well as an in-store bakery and deli. The store is also a post-office and service station. Ten minutes east of Anahim Lake, the Nimpo Lake General Store is located right on the highway.
