Since 1997 Quadra Island Kayaks have been offering exceptional guided sea kayak tours for people of all ages! No experience required. Our waterfront location in Heriot Bay (next to Rebecca Spit Provincial Park) is the gateway to Quadra's best sea kayaking! Mountain views & endless scenic shoreline provide outstanding paddling options. Seals, eagles, dolphins, porpoise, shorebirds & vibrant inter-tidal life keep the trips exciting! Age Restrictions
Participants from 7-75 are all welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 12 and under will most likely need to go in the front of a double kayak with an adult in the back. Children younger than 7 may go in a double kayak with a center hatch for kids (some restrictions may apply).
Clothing Gear Required
Hat, sunscreen, water bottle, footwear that can get wet (sandals etc), and extra clothing.
Height Restrictions
Over 6 1/2 feet..... tricky!
Mobility Restrictions
Previous kayaking experience not required. Participants must be generally active and mobile.
Weight Restriction
Must be able to fit into a kayak. Height and weight varies.
