Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival

1695 Whyte Ave, Vanier Park, Vancouver
British Columbia, V6J 3J9

Celebrating 25 years of bringing Shakespeare to life in Vancouver, Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival runs from June 11 to September 20, 2014, in modern theatre tents in Vancouver's waterfront Vanier Park. This year two favourite productions are returning: A Midsummer Night's Dream & The Tempest, re-imagined from highly successful runs in 2006 & 2008. On the Howard Family Stage, Bard presents a bold adaptation of Shakespeare's Cymbeline, playing in repertory with Equivocation, set in Shakespeare's era & written by contemporary playwright Bill Cain. Equivocation is a co-production with Victoria's Belfry Theatre.
