Kimberley's Underground Mining Railway

Take a ride on Kimberley's Underground Mining Railway as it winds through the Mark Creek Valley. It continues its route through a 750 m (2,475 ft) tunnel to the Underground Interpretive Centre, where the history of the Sullivan Mine & mining are preserved & our underground miner will help visitors experience what it was like working underground. On the return trip, we stop for a guided tour of the Sullivan Mine Powerhouse to learn more history & to see a mine model and the huge compressors & generators that powered the mine. A Resort Express train, for those who just like to ride the train, is available Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays at 10:00 am.
