Roedde House Museum, in Vancouver's West End, is a late-Victorian house in the Queen Anne revival style. Built in 1893 for the family of Gustav Roedde, the city's first bookbinder, it has been faithfully restored to reflect the day-to-day life of a middle class pioneer family at the turn of the last century. Unlike many heritage houses, the rooms are not roped off or behind glass & some of the artifacts may be handled with care.

The Museum offers guided Tea & Tour Sundays, concerts series, & other cultural events. Check our website for events & exceptional closures.

Please note:  Closed on Mondays & between Christmas & New Year's Day. The museum may be closed for occasional private events, check the calendar on our website.

Mobility Restrictions
The main floor of the house is wheelchair accessible, with a direct path from the parking lot (at the back of the house) into the museum, through a side door. The second floor is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
