The rest of the park is largely undeveloped & appeals primarily to people seeking wilderness surroundings. Enjoy the hiking trails & visit the interpretive centre.

Buttle Lake - off Hwy 28, west of Campbell River. Forbidden Plateau - off Hwy 19, Exit 130 towards Mount Washington skiing.
