Explore town history, multiculturalism, turn-of-the-century settlement, the 1950s Alcan Project aluminum smelter construction and Haisla arts and technology. Additional displays feature the geology, flora and fauna of the Kitimat Valley and some sea life of Douglas Channel. The temporary gallery offers changing exhibitions of arts, culture and history. We also offer summer programs for children. Visit the Museum gift shop for aluminum giftware, First Nations designs, jewelry, books and clothing. While in Kitimat, enjoy the Museum's four self-guided walkway circle routes and interpretive signs.
