The Primal Swing is the ultimate experience for all guests (ages 7+). Secured into a cool and comfortable paragliding harness, guests unleash a scream-inducing 140 km/hr slingshot ride through the Nanaimo River canyon!
Retail - Climb, zip, swing & play! Go WILD with Monkido: Explore the forest from four sections of zip lines, rope swings, scrambling nets, wobbly bridges, and suspended “surprises”. Skill-level and height progress as you conquer challenging Kids, Buddy, or Classic Course games. A perfect three-hour adventure for singles and groups!
Retail - Free flying fun! Go WILD with DragonFLY Zip Lines: Lose your breath in the Nanaimo River scenery. Take an easy trip across the canyon, under the Bungy bridge, on this low-speed, high-enjoyment zip line. No experience needed, our employees provide your training. Just lean back and enjoy the ride!

Age Restrictions
Minimum ages to play: Monkido Kids Course, 7. Monkido Buddy Course, 7-11 years with an adult in the trees. Monkido Classic Course, Bungy Jump, DragonFly Zip Lines and Primal Swing, minimum 12 years and older.
Clothing Gear Required
Clothing should be close-fitting and appropriate for the season. Long hair must be tied back. Footwear must be closed-toed (sturdy sport sandals, shoes or boots) and worn securely. Strongly recommend no jewelry (especially necklaces or loose bracelets which could get caught in equipment). Tree sap can stain clothing, so dress appropriately.
Height Restrictions
Reach* requirements for the Monkido Courses: Kids Course: 140 cm or 4'7"; Classic and Buddy Courses: 180 cm or 5'11". *Reach height is based on feet flat on the ground to the tips of the fingers, when arms are raised above the head.
Mobility Restrictions
For guests with mobility restrictions who wish to go on the Monkido Courses, Bungy Jump, Primal Swing, or DragonFLY Zip Lines, please contact Guest Services to discuss Element availability.
Weight Restriction
Bungy Jump: Minimum 95 lbs (43.1 kg) per jump; Primal Swing: Minimum 170 lbs (77.1 kg) single or tandem; DragonFLY Zip Lines: Minimum 90 lbs (41.8 kg) - or zip tandem with a WildPlay Guide!
