Experience sublime Gabriola oceanfront at the Island's only public campground park. Just 20 mins by ferry from downtown Nanaimo, the regional park is 1 km from the Gabriola Ferry & 3 km from the village. Park offers forested tent & small RV-sites; kayak/canoe launch; picnic & day use areas; 3 lovely shellfish coves perfect for swimming, boating, nature appreciation & watching sunsets; & walking trails in the regional park as well as adjacent community park. Low season rates of $10 per night apply October to March. Non-profit youth group rate $2.50/head. Max 4 adults per campsite.
