McLeod Meadows Campground occupies a quiet, wooded area on the bank of the Kootenay River with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. The open grasslands of the meadows & the nearby river makes ideal habitat for wildlife viewing. In the early summer, the orchids bloom in the nearby meadows. The nearby Dog Lake trail provides opportunity for a gentle afternoon hike to a peaceful lake. A National Parks entry pass is required. Taxes included in rates. This campground operates on a first-come, first served policy. National Park entry fee and fire permit fees apply.
Group Policy
A maximum of 6 people are allowed at each campsite.
