Wings Tap & Grill
July 20, 2007 | Tips from Travellers > Surrey, Dining
When I first heard about Wings , I asked a couple friends to join me in testing out their food and service one night. We choose to try their infamous chicken wings, so we decided that Sunday night would be perfect because it was one of their “half-price” 39 cent wing nights. Each of us chose a different flavour and taste-tested each other’s just to make sure they were cooked to perfection. After an hour of good food, good drinks, good service, and the perfect atmosphere, the meal was over and our tummies were full so it was time to leave. However, we all agreed that the wings were amazing and vowed to go back again. One of my friends even suggested going on Pasta Night to broaden our culinary experiences. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant, but get there early on Wednesdays and Sundays, because half-priced wing nights seem to be on everyone’s minds!

I agree with you on the good food part. The wings are amazing! However, I've only been there 3 or 4 times but each time the service has been laking... either the servers or slow or the hostess is rude. This most recent time we went we had a party of 7 and went in around 8pm. The hostess asked us if we'd be done by 9pm. Doubtful but maybe. We weren't. At 9:30pm we were done and waiting for our bill but the hostess came to us and said "when you came in you said you'd be done by 9. my large party has been waiting for a half hour. are you done or can i move you?" we told her we were just waiting for our bills and she stalked off. Who expects a party of 7 to finish eating and drinking in an hour? I'd go back only because the food was amazing. I might say something to the hostess, if she's still there.
