Within the communities of 100 Mile house and nearby 108 Mile there is a wide selection of accommodations.
There are six hotels, five motels, and a few cozy bed and breakfasts just within the main communities. However, 100 Mile is best known for its many guest ranches and lodges.
Most of the ranches and resorts are spread out over a broad area; however a number of them are closer to town. Lakeside resort accommodation and cabin rentals are also widely available through the area.
Luxurious, Rustic and Working Guest Ranches
Some ranches and resorts offer in-house dining and may include spa services and activities such as fishing, horseback riding, canoeing, ATVing and cross-country skiing. Some are actually working ranches wth vacation packages that expect visitors to help out with light work, including fence mending, building repairs and morning chores.
Many are open year-round with activities to match the seasons. While most of the ranches and resorts are modern and some even luxurious, for the more adventurous traveler there are rustic cabins.
Camping and RVing
Most area ranches and resorts offer serviced and non-serviced camp and RV sites. In addition, there are numerous private and public campgrounds as well as camping within several parks. With so many lakes and marshes close to campsites, visitors are advised to bring mosquito repellent, particularly during the late spring and early summer.
